Over at dog food reviews, they’ve just updated a number of their reviews of various dog foods and canine diets. What struck a chord with me was their review of Butchers Tripe. Why?The part that really stood out to me was the conclusion that dogs themselves appear to want to eat meat based dog foods pretty much over and above anything else.

In the past, whenever I’ve had a dog that had gone off its food, I always find myself turning to Butcher’s or Chappie as a way to ‘bribe’ them to eat!

Funny how despite all the clean, almost odour-less commercial dog foods now on the market, dogs still seem to crave the smellier dog food above all else.
